二ュージーランド出身のSteve先生は、国際探究コースの英語やGlobal Studiesの授業に加えて国際交流の担当もされています。英語による自己紹介を読んでみてください。
I’m Stephen Allen, and I’m from New Zealand. I came to Japan in 2005 on the JET program, teaching English as an ALT at various schools in the Chita city area of Aichi prefecture, before starting at Toho High School ion 2010.
My interests outside of teaching are various, but in particular are my love of music which led me to start DJing as a hobby during university. It is a hobby which I still get the chance to do now and then.
My favorite sport is cycling, and I enjoy going out and exploring the various country roads in Aichi, Gifu, Nagano, and other parts of Japan when I can.
With Toho’s International Quest course starting in 2020, I’m looking forward to the opportunities that the new course will offer our students and teachers, being able to teach students in a new way, and for students to have the chance to think for themselves and accomplish goals together. I believe that we can work together to understand and change the world around us in a positive and exciting way!
